The “IRONCLAD” Rules of Cancer
Throughout history there have been certain people who have "upset the milk cart" so to speak. They have put forth ideas that were clearly not acceptable for their time. Galileo comes to mind. Sun at the center of the universe? It was actually heresy at the time. Semmelweis is another. Never heard of him? Ever heard of doctors washing hands between patients? Of course you have! And yet, 200 years ago it was common for a Dr to visit the morgue and examine a dead infected body, and then go to his laboring patient as she was in childbirth, and examine her. This of course spread infection and killed a lot of innocents. Semmelweis is the one who came up with the idea of washing hands. He was a laughing stock. No one is laughing about that now.
One that I am aware of in my lifetime is Dr. Marshall and Dr Warren's discovery that stomach ulcers are caused by bacteria. Again, they were derided by their colleagues, and persistence proved that simple antibiotics would resolve this condition. At the time, no one thought bacteria could survive in the stomach. Dr Marshall went so far as to drink a beaker of the bacteria and became predictably ill a few days later. I saw my own mother-in-law take the information she saw on a television program about it to her doctor, and he scoffed at the idea. Two years later, he was prescribing antibiotics for his patients with stomach ulcers. Interesting.
I set the stage with that information because there is a Dr in Germany with a new idea. And although the title says it's about cancer, he claims it applies to all major disease. What is it? His name is Dr. Hamer and his theory is that every cancer, every disease originates from a shock or trauma that catches us completely by surprise. It does not have to be traumatic, but it certainly can be. In his case, his son was unexpectedly murdered and the culprit got away with it. Within months, Dr Hamer, who was previously healthy, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. As with previous medical mavericks, he is being labeled a quack and worse. Only time and history will prove whether he is right or not.
My intent is not to share all the ironclad rules of cancer. Click the link if you want to read the voluminous amounts of information. I have read it and seen the youtube videos because I found it so intriguing. I spent about a week a few months back, going over all of the information.
I am currently reading Molecules of Emotion, by Candace Pert, Phd. This is another amazing story about a discovery that 20 years later is only just beginning to be accepted in the medical world but has been accepted for thousands of years in some cultures. Dr Pert's discovery of molecules in the brain, led her to find the same molecules all over the body in every organ and cell. These molecules are indeed "molecules of emotion." Her discovery, led to the scientific proof that our minds and bodies are completely connected; a fact that medicine has a hard time wrapping it's brain around. As a whole, they see people as parts, but we really are an integrated soul: mind, body, spirit.
So, to treat those parts separately, leaving out the thoughts and feelings of those suffering, is an incomplete way of practicing medicine. I have great respect for those Doctors in their fields who are willing to use integrative or complementary therapies. And that is where I come in. I would never assume to try to diagnose anyone. I am neither a doctor or a psychologist. But you don't have to be a doctor or psychologist to study human behavior. To learn and experience for yourself and identify with the suffering that comes to all who enter life on the planet. The trick is to lessen the ultimate effects.
Facing emotions and resolving them when necessary can lead not only to peaceful living, but often also leads to partial or total resolution of physical complaints as well. How could you imagine that a misunderstanding with a friend could be the cause of your shoulder pain? I found that out myself. Can unforgiveness lead to medical issues? There are many who say it is so. Asking good questions can lead to discoveries that free you in ways you may have never imagined. And whether energy therapies or other complementary therapies lead to cures, they can lead to peace of mind.
I have a friend who had cancer. And she eventually passed from this life. But our meetings together before she left, were precious to me and helpful to her. I was able to help her experience some grace and ease in her final weeks and I am not sure whether she benefited more, or I did. I know beyond any doubt, that our emotions and how we handle them can lead to unwanted consequences.
The ironclad rules of cancer, helped me to understand even more, how vital it is that when we have shock, trauma, grief, unexpected "negative" events, that it is important to make friends with those emotions, so that they do not make an enemy of us. EFT is such a wonderful tool that helps anyone to do that. If you haven't learned EFT yet, please do so. Feel free to ask questions. I'm here to help.
